What’s a DDyna Charlie Special?
Simply put, The Charlie Special is a pre-amp, our signature limiter and a volume control. There are no markings of the controls or I/O on the Charlie Special pedal as we feel anyone using this pedal will already know (or can figure it out very quickly) what it is and how it operates. For those that need a bit more information, there is a diagram in the manual.
The Charlie Special pedal ranges nicely from a clean boost pedal, to a clean boost with mild hair (ala Stevie Ray Vaughan), to subtle overdrive tones. We prefer the Charlie Special for the driven amp Stevie Ray tones!

OVERDRIVE: Medium-hard limiter – medium to gritty limit.
VOLUME: Sets the output level.
