The Barber Tone Press Compressor was designed to give the guitar player the ability to blend the amount of compression desired, with the dry signal from your guitar. The Tone Press offers Tone and Sustain with Performance at a price point that makes it easily attainable.
Unlike other Compressor pedals Barber Electronics has eliminated some flaws inherent in traditional designs, such as phase reversal and "squashing". While you can still obtain a more heavily compressed sound with the Tone press if desired, unlike most compressors based on earlier designs, the continuous blend control circuit featured in the tone press allows the guitar player to achieve a more natural sustain and transparent compression.
