ST-12AX7-R Silver Series The Groove Tubes Silver Series ST-12AX7A-R tubes are tested and warranted like all other Groove Tubes, to meet or exceed factory specifications. The Silver Series tubes are excellent for "normal" tube replacement applications and offer exceptional value.  The Silver Series ST-12AX7-R is a high quality tube, but we do not recommended this particular 12AX7 in critical high gain V1 stages of high gain guitar amps, but is is perfectly funtional for the other less critical gain stages such as V2-V6 stages. The Groove Tubes ST-12AX7-R silver series tube is manufactured in Russia.
