The Star Nova 5W Class A Guitar Amplifier is the smallest in Mark Sampson's hand built line of boutique guitar amplifiers. This little wonder would be similar to a Fender Vibro Champ on steroids. The Star Nova Amp features a 10" Jensen speaker housed in a package that weighs about 17 pounds. The Nova is hand wired PTP and features a single 6V6 single ended output stage. The Nova also offers two channels, a high gain and a lower gain stage (not foot switchable) for tone ranges from clean/mellow blues to high gain drive. At home in the bedroom or living room as well as in the recording studio, or even live when miking through a PA system, the Star Nova covers quite the application range.
