Retro Sonic Analog Delay
The Retro-Sonic Analog Delay is based on the now out of production DM-2 circuit. That was the starting point for the design of the RS Delay. It has the usual controls, delay time, level and repeats. An additional control alters the tone of the repeats ( hi cut filter). The Retro Sonic Analog Delay has been built using two 4096 stage BBDs. (The max delay time is 600ms). Nice and quiet, no clock noises or hiss. The RS Delay is housed in the same enclosure as the RS Chorus, with 4 control knobs and two footswitches. One footswitch selects effect/bypass ( true bypass), and the secondary footswitch allows selection between a short and long delay path (~300ms and ~600ms). This enables finer control over the short delay range (effectively a delay and slapback selection at your foot).
