Perfect for live or studio settings, the ND868 boasts the kind of frequency response you have to tune other mics for in a bass drum application. In other words, this mic is plug and play! Its low-sensitivity design keeps it from distorting in the high-sound-pressure bass drum environment. Its humbucking coil effectively cancels hum interference from lighting and other power sources. Its cardioid design picks up only the sound in front of it. In other words, no unwanted frequencies, distortion, hum, or outside noise allowed. The EV ND868 gives you nothing but kick.
